Yoshino-cho
There is a bus stop "Tsuburoko Kitaguchi" at a 0-minute walk
from Fukubatake.
From there, you can take a bus that runs through Yoshino Town.
Reservations are required for the bus, and there is no transfer to reach
the destination.

Kinpusenji temple
Kinpusen-ji Temple was founded in the 7th century, and the existing building was donated by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1590, along with the principal Buddha statues (three 7-meter high Buddha statues, not open to the public). The main hall and Niomon are designated as national treasures, and there are many other national treasures and important cultural properties.

Yoshimizu Shrine
Yoshimizu Shrine is said to have been built in the 7th century. In 1185, Minamoto no Yoshitsune hid with his lover, Shizuka Gozen, and it became the model for the Kabuki play "Yoshitsune Senbonzakura". In the 14th century, when Emperor Godaigo established his dynasty in Yoshino, it became the Imperial Palace.

Nyoirinji Temple
Nyoirinji Temple was built in the 10th century. There is a tomb of Emperor Godaigo. There are still remains such as the door where the 14th-century samurai Kusunoki Masatsura carved a waka poem in preparation for his death in battle.

Chikurinin Temple
Chikurin-in Temple is said to have been built by Prince Shotoku in the 6th century. Chikurin-in's Japanese garden is very famous. It is said that this garden was created by Sen no Rikyu, the founder of the tea ceremony, for Toyotomi Hideyoshi to enjoy cherry blossom viewing on Mount Yoshino.

Yoshino Mikumari Shrine
Yoshino Mikumari Shrine is a very old and historical shrine. Along with being the god of water, it is also believed to be the god of child-giving. In July 2004, it was registered as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range".

Hanayaguratenboudai
It is the best view spot where you can see Mt. Yoshino.
It's a beautiful view even outside of the cherry blossom season.

Houtouji Temple
Houtouji is a temple with a stupa. If you receive prayers from the chief priest who has undergone strict training, your fortune will improve and your mind and body will be refreshed. There is also a fortune-telling life consultation. You can eat at the cafe. There is a lodging. You can experience flower arrangement. There is also a cute goat parent and child.

Riverfield Yoshino
Riverfield Yoshino is the riverbed of the Yoshino River.
It is free and open to the public except in the summer when there are guests who come to swim.
You can do camping and BBQ.
It is also a free parking lot for visitors to Kamiichi. -
Shoya
It is a free rest area using a traditional Japanese warehouse style building.There is a vending machine for Yoshino's specialty persimmon leaf sushi.Kakinoha-sushi is sushi made from salted salmon or mackerel wrapped in persimmon leaves.

Daishisanji
Daishisanji Temple is a temple with a great view overlooking the Yoshino River and the Kamiichi district.
In a stately hall, there is a substitute daishi who cures diseases from the neck up.
When there is an event, you can see a very powerful prayer.
You can also visit Shikoku 88 temples. -
Yoshino Gateway
Yoshino Gateway is a telework facility.
There are various plans, but one-off offers an office for 1000 yen per day. -
Yoshino lumber yard
Yoshino has produced lumber such as cedar and cypress for 500 years. They are first-class brands called Yoshino cedar and Yoshino cypress.
In the early 20th century, timber yards were built along the Yoshino River to transport timber by rail. Although it is currently used by trucks, the timber yard has been handed over to the present day and has been designated as a landscape asset of Nara Prefecture. -
Onamochi jinja
Onamochi Shrine is an old shrine at the foot of Mt. Imoyama (249 meters) by the Yoshino River. Due to the worship of Onamochi Shrine, there is a rule that Imoyama trees must not be cut down. For this reason, Imoyama has a community of rare warm-climate plants, and has been designated as a natural monument. Imoyama is also the stage model for the Kabuki play Imoseyama Onna Teikhin.

Yoshino River Bridge
This bridge over the Yoshino River was completed in 1928. Morning, noon, evening and night, every scene is very beautiful and tasteful.

Miyataki Ruins
An area where pottery from before the 10th century BC has been unearthed. It is a scenic spot where gigantic and strangely shaped rocks approach both banks, and rapids and pools intersect. In recent years, the remains of Yoshino Rikyu, the imperial palace dating back to the 7th century, were also discovered.

Yume no Wada (dream trap)
A deep pool where the stream becomes a waterfall and enters the Yoshino River.
Said to be "beautiful enough to dream of visiting," it was loved by aristocrats and poets of the past. -
Yoshino Historical Museum
Materials and models of Jomon pottery and the Miyataki site are on display.

Umetani miso soy sauce
A company that makes miso and soy sauce in Yoshino Town.
Soy sauce and miso are carefully made using traditional methods using Yoshino cedar barrels that have been used for 100 years.
If you make a reservation, you can visit the soy sauce brewery. -
Kuzu no Sato Manufacturing experience workshop
Yoshino Town has long been a producer of very high-quality handmade Japanese paper. This Japanese paper is used not only for interior decoration, but also for restoration of cultural properties. You can experience making Japanese paper by making a reservation. You can also experience making chopsticks using Yoshino cedar and pottery.

Kiyomiharajinjya Shrine
It is a very old shrine that has been built on the Yoshino River Cliff.
The dance "Kuzuso" dedicated on the 14th of the Lunar New Year every year is famous.
Kuzusou was danced to comfort the emperor who fled from the capital in the 7th century, and the tradition has been passed down to the present day.Kuzuso is designated as an intangible folk cultural property of Nara Prefecture.
